The marrow, the bone marrow. And so he thought of giving up this morning because he’s really not well yet. But because he’s greedy to practice the Emperor Liang’s Repentance. You don’t get to do this very often; he doesn’t. And so he brought himself here and he thought about giving up this morning because it hurt too much. Including lunch; he was hurting. And at 2 pm after having tea with us he decided to follow the instructions and bowed. And starting from 2 pm I asked him, “How long did it take him before the pain went away.” He said, actually, it went away very fast, very quickly; which is a very good sign. So what did you learn? So you’ve come quite a ways mostly by your sincerity. The young people again, I put more pressure on them; I give them more guidance. It started with your heart and your kidneys. Still, they are still troubling you, aren’t they? Hmm? You take medication for your heart and kidneys every day? Hmm. Okay. That’s what you are doing. Very good. And you came here. I’m very pleased that you made the effort to come here and you were able to last one session. I’d like you to pray to Maitreya Bodhisattva. Ask for his help to last the entire afternoon and it’s typical of him. Every instruction I gave him in the past, he modified it to suit his needs. So he prayed to GuanYin Bodhisattva. He says, “Please help me last the afternoon.” And I think GuanYin Bodhisattva helped him. So we’ll never know if Maitreya Bodhisattva would help him at all. You blew it. I gave you a chance to make a connection with Maitreya Bodhisattva and you did not. That’s your problem. You always modified it to something you understand. That’s why you got sick in the first place; you didn’t get it. And that’s something that’s partly my part because I never really taught you the way I taught the rest of them. It doesn’t have to make sense to you. San Luis Obispo. It’s a very good University by the way. Polytechnic, San Luis Obispo.
